Returns, Refunds & Delivery Policy
We want you to be completely happy with your order. If there’s a problem or you change your mind, we’ll make returning, exchanging, or repairing items as easy and fair as possible.
This policy explains how we handle returns, refunds, repairs, replacements, and deliveries.
1. How to Return Your Order
To start a return, please contact us at info@studiobramble.co.uk.
You can request a return within 30 days of your order being delivered if you change your mind.
Please note: Bespoke or made-to-order items are non-refundable.
To qualify for a change-of-mind return, items must be:
-
Unused
-
Undamaged
-
Complete
-
In their original packaging
-
In a resellable, “as new” condition
Items returned in a condition that means they cannot be resold may not be accepted.
2. Faulty, Damaged, or Not-As-Described Items
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described:
-
You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund, in line with your statutory rights
-
We may request:
-
Photos or additional information
-
A specialist or independent assessment where needed
-
-
A specialist or third-party inspection may be arranged to determine the cause of the damage or fault
3. Products That Require Extra Care
Some items need special handling for safety, hygiene, or fragility.
Lighting (Lamps)
-
Must be unused and returned unopened in the original packaging.
-
Opened or used lamps cannot normally be returned for a full refund.
-
At our discretion, we may accept returns of opened lamps. In this case:
-
You may be responsible for return shipping costs
-
A reduction in value may apply (typically up to 40% of the original sale price)
-
Reductions are applied only when necessary and we aim to be fair and transparent.
-
Rugs
-
Must remain sealed in the original packaging.
-
Opened rugs cannot normally be returned for a full change-of-mind refund.
-
At our discretion, a partial refund may be offered (usually up to 40%) to reflect loss of resale value.
-
Reductions are applied only when necessary and we aim to be fair and transparent.
-
Faulty or not as described rugs are eligible for a full refund, even if opened.
Fragile Items
-
Must be packed securely and labelled “Fragile” when returning.
-
Items damaged due to insufficient packaging may result in a reduced refund or refused return.
4. Items Returned in Unsuitable Condition
If a returned item:
-
Shows signs of use
-
Is damaged
-
Is incomplete
-
Cannot be resold
We may refuse the return.
If a return is refused:
-
You must pay the return shipping costs to have the item sent back
-
Items will be held for 30 days while awaiting payment
-
If return shipping is not paid within 30 days, the item will be disposed of, and ownership will be considered relinquished
5. Delivery Charges & Northern Ireland
-
Delivery charges for rugs, lighting, and artwork to Northern Ireland are non-refundable
-
These are Logistics & Administration fees, reflecting:
-
Increased transport and handling costs
-
Additional administrative and customs documentation
-
Once an order is dispatched, these fees cannot be refunded.
6. Missing, Lost, or Stolen Parcels
Claims of Non-Receipt
-
You may be asked to sign a declaration confirming the parcel is not in your possession
-
You must notify us immediately if it is later found
Safe-Place Deliveries
-
If you choose a safe place, the delivery is considered successful once the courier confirms it has been left
-
We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost or stolen after delivery to a safe place
-
To reduce risk:
-
Choose delivery to a collection point or locker
-
Rearrange delivery for a day when someone will be in
-
If a safe-place parcel is missing or stolen, you may be asked to sign a declaration for courier or authority investigations
7. Fraud Prevention
-
We will fully cooperate with authorities if fraud is suspected
-
This may include investigations, prosecutions, and cost recovery
8. Delivery Tips
-
Be in to receive your delivery whenever possible
-
If you’re unavailable, use a collection point, locker, or trusted neighbour, or rearrange delivery
-
Parcels delivered to a safe place are considered successfully delivered; we cannot take responsibility for loss or theft afterward
9. Partial Refunds for Used or Opened Items
In some cases, if a product has been used, opened, or cannot be resold as new, we may apply a reduction to the refund.
-
This reflects the loss of resale value, handling, and associated costs, not a penalty
-
For opened lamps or rugs, this reduction is usually up to 40% of the original sale price
-
Reductions are applied only when necessary and we aim to be fair and transparent.
